Faces in Familiar Places
For this major project, we were all required to go out and take pictures of man made things that don't intentionally look like they have faces. Specifically for this project, I went out to Boston and took pictures of building all around me when walking down near Boylston Street. Ironically, most of the building around this area had, in my eyes, the same faces. The other photos were taken from the comfort of my home. Some were sinks, mirrors and lights, and my Television carved inside of the wall.
New techniques used were scaling the images, so that they were all cropped to a 1:1 square. We also after scaling them, used adjustments, then choose levels and played with the coloring and lighting of each picture. At the very end we used the tool edit, grid, and snap. This helped make sure all the spaces between the photos were equal.
